Leaky funnel? It may not be as bad as you think. The pixel will show you just where they are dropping off. Learn how to install it on ClickFunnels the RIGHT way.

Is your Facebook™ pixel installed correctly on ClickFunnels?

If you have a sales funnel and are using Facebook™ ads, you know all about conversion tracking and how important it is. When the Facebook™ pixel is installed correctly, you can track your landing page visitors and leads (or purchases) and monitor how well your ad campaigns are performing. If it isn’t, your data is at risk of being wrong. When tracking funnel leaks (identifying where visitors are dropping out of your funnel) pixel data can give you the exact place the conversions stop happening and that enables you to make the changes necessary to increase your sales or leads.

Your Pixel is Magical

The pixel is an analytics tool that helps you measure the effectiveness of your ad campaigns. You can use it to track the actions people are taking on your website and reach relevant audiences when running ads.

You can use pixel data to:

  • Create audiences  based on engagement and visits to your website or landing page
  • Put ads in front of these audiences
  • Track conversion rates and purchases
  • Re-target visitors who don’t convert
  • Build cold audiences based on the characteristics of your best audience of buyers

Installing it wrong on ClickFunnels means that you face double fires, that means that for every page visit, it will record 2. The base pixel code will record an event called “Page View” and if it fires twice, the dashboard is going to record 2 pixel fires for every visit – which means you’re going to see traffic that isn’t real as well as a drop off in your funnel. Let’s use a real world example:

Your pixel dashboard reports 15,000 page views. It also reports 2,500 leads. What is the conversion rate?

Conversion Rate = Total number of conversions / Total number of sessions * 100

With 2,500 leads (conversions) and 15,000 page views (sessions)  your conversion rate would be 16%. Now if you install your pixel correctly and it only fires the one time it should, it would be 2,500 leads (conversions) and 7,000 page views (sessions) at a 35% conversion rate. Double the pixel fires, double the page views reported back to the dashboard. This can get really bad when tracking purchases as well as your return on your ad spend, so getting your pixel installed and reporting correctly is the most important thing if you are running ads.

Watch the video below and I’ll show you how to install the pixel on ClickFunnels for reliable metrics in your pixel dashboard. I’ll also show you how to install the base code and even how to track your leads.
